As of midnight on 1st May, the compulsory housing order imposed as a result of Avian Influenza (Bird Flu) in the UK, has been lifted. The whole of the UK is still an AIPZ (Avian Influenza Prevention Zone) which means strict biosecurity measures remain in place. As Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre is within a designated “High Risk” area, we will continue to provide footbaths for visitors, and request they keep a safe distance from our birds, as well as other precautions we see as necessary to prevent the disease from entering our premises.
Commencing 9th May, our daily flying shows will return. Show times are 11:30. 1:30, and 3:30. All shows are different, flying a variety of birds from Britain and the rest of the world.
Please note, the special discounted entry fees will be removed from 9th May (see the “Visit” tab for prices.
Please check the Facebook page for news of the new arrivals, we expect them to be here within the next two weeks.
