From our re-opening date of July 15th, we will introduce measures to ensure the safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors. We are trying to operate with as little inconvenience to our visitors as possible. We will not be operating a pre-book or pre-purchase system, but welcoming visitors at the door. However, due to the ongoing restrictions on social distancing and interaction, we have introduced a number of restrictions/conditions to keep our staff and visitors safe.

There will be a limit on the number of visitors allowed on site at one time, currently, approximately 40.

Upon entry, there will be markers indicating safe distances.

Payment must be made at the window, contactless preferred, visitors will not be allowed to enter by the reception door.

There will be a one-way system in operation.

There are hand sanitisers within the centre for use by visitors, please use sparingly.

The education cabin will not be accessible, and the quiz sheets have been withdrawn.

We ask visitors to avoid touching surfaces, barriers, signs etc.

If visitors wish to purchase merchandise, there will be limited entry permitted and visitors MUST wear a facemask if in the shop.

We are requesting those people who visit the shop not to touch merchandise unless they intend to purchase.

The bottom shelves have been cleared and some merchandise has been withdrawn from sale. If you have a specific requirement, please ask.

We will be starting with one flying show per day at the moment at 1:30pm. Sorry, but we have to limit the number of people allowed in the flying area.

Unfortunately, construction works commence in the adjacent boatyard on the 14th July for two weeks. It is likely this work will affect our ability to fly birds reliably in the arena. We are going to monitor the situation and work accordingly. It may mean the cancellation of some flying shows.

Currently, we are unable to offer experiences. Once restrictions have been lifted and we have been notified by DEFRA we can proceed, we will up-date the information.

Please bear with us, it has been four months since our residents have seen anyone but ourselves, and almost eight months since our last busy period We look forward to seeing you, it has been a long time.

Thank you all so much for your continued support through these unusual times.
